David S. Austin is vice president and general manager, Cabin and ElectroMechanical Systems for Rockwell Collins. He is responsible for leading and directing the business with a focus on customer satisfaction and program execution.
Previously, Austin served as the senior director of Rockwell Collins Head-Up Guidance Systems in Portland, Oregon. He has also held roles in various positions in program management for Business and Regional Systems at Rockwell Collins.
Austin joined Rockwell Collins in 1998 after spending 12 years at Allied Signal. While at Allied Signal, Austin held positions in business development, engineering and program management.
Austin earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University, and a Master of Business Administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
